Awards Banquet for Society of Midland Authors

This annual event honors the winners of a national book award competition in the categories of Adult Fiction, Adult Nonfiction, Biography, Children's Fiction, Children's Nonfiction, and Poetry. Scholarly Presentation of Linda Nemec Foster’s book, Talking Diamonds

Linda Nemec Foster's poetry book, Talking Diamonds (New Issues Press) is the subject of a scholarly paper and presentation at the Society for the Study of Midwestern Literature's annual conference at Michigan State University. Poet and literary scholar Janet Heller will discuss recurrent themes and subjects in Foster's collection which was a finalist for ForeWord Magazine's Book of the Year in Poetry (2010).
