Foster was selected to be the national judge for this annual poetry competition, one of the oldest and most prestigious contests in the Midwest. 

Nominee Pushcart Prize 2014 "The Cypress Trees in Croatia" -- a poem by Foster published in the I-70 Review -- was nominated by the journal's editors for the award.
